The Problem
One of the premier law schools in the US, Duke Law School, needed branding that reflected its rich history, forward-looking vision, and its place among the larger Duke ecosystem.
The Objective
We were tasked with a redesign of the Duke Law website, and an evaluation of its overall branding and positioning. Our goal was to create a better online experience, and tools and guidelines that would make it easy for their internal teams to create content and adjust the layout as needed.
Our Strategy
We made several branding recommendations, beginning with the logo – streamlining it, and updating it with an eye towards all possible use-cases. A brand guide helped steer the visual voice beyond the logo and brand identity in future communications. For the website redesign, we created a modular website framework and UX strategy for a website that includes over 7,500 pages of information and integrates multiple live data sources and web applications.
