
The Problem
Homecoming is a huge annual tradition at NCCU, an HBCU with a storied past and a very passionate alumni base. Homecoming tickets are a huge source of revenue and with COVID-19 in 2020, NCCU needed a way to create a homecoming experience without the traditional in-person festivities.
The Objective
We took on the challenge of helping NCCU create a Virtual Homecoming campaign, to drive revenue and engagement, celebrate Eagle Pride, and support NCCU and the Athletics Department in a difficult time.
Our Strategy
We helped create a digital and social campaign surrounding the homecoming that helped bring to life and celebrate Eagle Pride while working to raise $750K. We designed a website and planned out a social campaign surrounding the event, and supported it with digital and email marketing. Finally, we helped create a hype video to give viewers a taste of the party atmosphere NCCU Homecoming is known for.
